Former MURDERDOLLS Drummer Joins Forces With Ex-FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH/W.A.S.P. Guitarist

February 10, 2010

Ex-MURDERDOLLS drummer Ben Graves has joined SINTANIC, the new project launched by former FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and W.A.S.P. guitarist Darrell Roberts. "The material is starting to sound good, tight and Ben is really the perfect drummer for this band," Darrell says. "The guy hits like a fucking truck and is a show within himself." He adds, "I hope people dig this shit because we are having a blast creating it!"

SINTANIC is in rehearsal mode now and hopes to hit the road this spring/summer. The band has also just finished mixing and mastering two brand new tracks — "If I'd Only" and "The Murder Of Mozart" — which are available for streaming at www.myspace.com/sintanic.

SINTANIC's forthcoming debut album is being recorded at Darrell's home studio as well as The Steakhouse in North Hollywood, California with producer/engineer Brent Woods.

"Starting something new is kinda scary and super-exciting at the same time," Darrell previously stated. "It's like standing at the bottom of Mt. Everest wearing flip flops!"

After years of touring the world with some of the biggest bands on the planet, Roberts is finally doing things his way. "I mean no disrespect to anyone I have worked with in the past because I regret nothing!" he said. "It was invaluable, a learning experience and I thank you all for the opportunity, but it was really time to let my creative side roam free and record my music."
